Organic English lavender hydrosol, Lavendula augustifolia distillate, which contains all the beneficial water soluble molecules from the distillation of organic lavender which makes the essential oil. The distillate (hydrosol) and oil is separated and we use this gorgeously exquisite hydrosol in all of our products instead of using just plain water. |

Organic castor oil, Ricinus communis, cold pressed seeds which are high in anti-inflammatory fatty acids sourced from fair trade project in India. |

Organic safflower seed oil, Carthamus tinctorius, rich in omega 6 & 9 Essential Fatty Acids. Safflower seed oil is particularly high in omega 6 which studies have shown is anti-inflammatory and helpful in alleviating eczema and dermatitis. |

Organic glycerine, sustainably sourced from Venezuela is a gentle soothing moisturiser. |

Jojoba beads, hydrogenated jojoba oil. Our fine jojoba beads are spherical in shape so they will not leave micro-lacerations on the skin like other exfoliators. They rinse off easily, are 100% biodegradable, and leave your skin clear and silky smooth, stimulating circulation and collagen production. |

Organic Shea Butter, Butyrospermum parkii. We've chosen the most nutrient-rich bioactive shea butter available from a fair trade project in Nigeria which contains phytosterols, Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3,6 & 9) including oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, and linolenic acid. With up to 65% of cinnamic acid esters, shea butter is anti-inflammatory and excellent in moisturising, protecting and healing especially dry and damaged skin. |

Organic Baobab oil, Adansonia digitata, is a silky smooth emollient, with soothing, softening and restructuring effects on skin. Baobab oil improves skin elasticity and skin regeneration and contains both Omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids. A natural source of vitamin D3, it also contains vitamins A, E and F.

Natural Vitamin E, Tocopherol. We've chosen our vitamin E so that it contains a higher percentage of the active, gamma-tocopherol. In addition to scavenging free radicals, vitamin e is anti-inflammatory and soothing. The ability of gamma-tocopherol to inhibit COX-2 activity independently of its antioxidant function in studies has shown that this form of vitamin E plays an important role in photo-protection and skin cancer prevention. |

Organic clove oil, Eugenia caryophyllus, distilled from the flower buds of the tree from a fair trade project in Madagascar, well known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties.

Our products contain organic lavender hydrosol from organic farms in England. Our products do not contain tap, distilled, irradiated, bottled, 'purified' or any other form of tap water.
Our fine jojoba beads are spherical in shape so they will not leave micro-lacerations on the skin like nutshell (apricot kernel, almond, grape seed), crystals (salt, sugar, rose quartz, silica, alumina), plant matter (bamboo, loofah) or pumice. They rinse off easily, are 100% biodegradable, and leave your skin clear and silky smooth.
Physiologically, exfoliation has shown to increase vascularity within the papillary dermis, increase reticulin stain (type III collagen), and ultrastuctural evidence of increased type I collagen indicate new collagen formation [1].
The cold pressed seeds of Ricinus communis give an oil which is high in the fatty acid Ricinoleic acid which is known for its anti-inflammatory effects.
