Cleanse and tone first. Then pump out a pearl sized amount and smooth onto face, neck and decolletage.  I also rub into the back of my hands.

Organic English lavender hydrosol, Lavendula augustifolia distillate, which contains all the beneficial water soluble molecules from the distillation of organic lavender which makes the essential oil.  The distillate (hydrosol) and oil are separated and we use this gorgeously exquisite hydrosol in all of our products instead of using just plain water.

Organic apricot kernel oil, Prunus armeniaca, cold pressed - high in omega 6 & 9 fatty acids. Read more about the wonderful properties of this oil on Our Science tab.

Squalane is an olive-derived natural moisturiser and skin softener which is an essential component of human sebum.

Organic Glycerine from sustainable palm kernel oil which is a soothing moisturiser.

Organic Shea Butter, Butyrospermum parkii.  We've chosen the most nutrient-rich bioactive shea butter available from a fair trade project in Nigeria which contains phytosterols, Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3,6 & 9) including oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, and linolenic acid.  With up to 65% of cinnamic acid esters, shea butter is anti-inflammatory and excellent in moisturising, protecting and healing especially dry and damaged skin.

Organic starflower seed oil, Borago officinalis, which contains high levels of the omega 6 fatty acid, Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) - which our bodies need to create prostaglandins.  Prostaglandins are not only anti-inflammatory but defficiencies cause dryness, loss of skin suppleness and wrinkling.

Natural Vitamin E, Tocopherol.  We've chosen our vitamin E so that it contains a higher percentage of the active, gamma-tocopherol.  In addition to scavenging free radicals, vitamin e is anti-inflammatory and soothing.  The ability of gamma-tocopherol to inhibit COX-2 activity independently of its antioxidant function in studies has shown that this form of vitamin E plays an important role in photo-protection and skin cancer prevention.

Wild Sandalwood, Santalum spicatum.  We've chosen a unique sandalwood with the highest level of α-santalol from managed Australian forests.  Many studies this decade have shown α-santalol protective against skin cancers.

Organic Sea Buckthorn, Hippophae rhamnoides, is high in Omega 7 and has been proven to clarify the skin, decreases transepidermal water loss therefore improving skin hydration and moisturising, promotes cell rejuvenation, has excellent anti-inflammatory properties, is UV protective and increases the synthesis of procollagen therefore ideal for preventing skin photoaging.

Organic Calendula officinalis from France well known for its soothing and healing properties.

WILDCIDE® - patent pending organic multifunction active developed in our laboratory.  Highly antioxidant and antimicrobial.

In the remote recesses of the Himalayan Mountains, between West Pakistan, India and China there is a tiny Kingdom called Hunza. These people are known world over for their amazing longevity and health - living well beyond 100 years. One of the first medical teams to study the Hunza was headed by world-renown British surgeon Dr Robert McCarrison. Writing in the AMA Journal Jan 7, 1922 he reported:

"The Hunza has no known incidence of cancer. They have an abundant crop of apricots. These they dry in the sun and use largely in their food".

Healthy living advocate J.I. Rodale wrote a book called The Healthy Hunzas' in 1955 that asserted that the Hunzas, noted for their longevity and many centenarians, were long-lived because of their consumption of healthy organic foods such as dried apricots.

There is no such thing as money in Hunza. A man's wealth is measured by the number of apricot trees he owns. And the most prized of all foods was considered to be the apricot kernel. It is very common for the Hunza to eat between 30 - 50 (rich in amygdalin/vitamin B17) apricot kernels as an after lunch snack. The thousands of seeds they do not eat they store or finely grind and then squeeze under pressure (cold press) to produce a very rich oil used in cooking and applied to the skin.

In addition to the cutting edge science and new advanced discoveries in each of our products, we also guarantee ethically sourced ingredients and raw materials.

The Palm oil that is used in both Sodium Stearyl Lactylate and Glyceryl Stearate emulsifiers comes from suppliers that are either members of the Round Table of Sustainable Palm Oil or a subsidiary company or who are members of FEDIOL which supports sustainability. FEDIOL is a European industry federation based in Brussels. Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate is based on sustainable palm oil from Malaysia or Indonesia and non-GMO Brassica napus oil from the EU. The lactic acid used is produced by non-GMO bacterial fermentation of sugar beets from the EU.

Glyceryl Stearate is based on sustainable Palm oil from Malaysia, Indonesia, Columbia or Papua New Guinea.

Cetyl Alcohol was traditionally obtained from the sperm whale since sperm whale oil contained 25% cetyl alcohol and this is where it was first discovered, but now it is derived from the Palm Oil Fatty Acid (Palmitic Acid) or coconut oil, which is treated with liquid gas so the free oxygen (O) atom is removed.

"I love this cream!  My skin usually reacts to creams, but this leaves my skin calm, soft, smooth and deeply moisturised."
