Organic English lavender hydrosol, Lavendula augustifolia distillate, which contains all the beneficial water soluble molecules from the distillation of organic lavender which makes the essential oil. The distillate (hydrosol) and oil are separated and we use this gorgeously exquisite hydrosol in all of our products instead of using just plain water. |

Squalane is an olive-derived natural moisturiser and skin softener which is an essential component of human sebum. |

Organic Shea Butter, Butyrospermum parkii. We've chosen the most nutrient-rich bioactive shea butter available from a fair trade project in Nigeria which contains phytosterols, Essential Fatty Acids (Omega 3,6 & 9) including oleic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, palmitic acid, and linolenic acid. With up to 65% of cinnamic acid esters, shea butter is anti-inflammatory and excellent in moisturising, protecting and healing especially dry and damaged skin. |

Organic starflower seed oil, Borago officinalis, which contains high levels of the omega 6 fatty acid, Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) - which our bodies need to create prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are not only anti-inflammatory but defficiencies cause dryness, loss of skin suppleness and wrinkling. |

Organic kiwi seed oil, Actinidia chinensis, very high level of the omega 3 fatty acid, alpha linolenic acid which studies have shown improves skin condition and protects against moisture loss. |

Natural Vitamin E, Tocopherol. We've chosen our vitamin E so that it contains a higher percentage of the active, gamma-tocopherol. In addition to scavenging free radicals, vitamin e is anti-inflammatory and soothing. The ability of gamma-tocopherol to inhibit COX-2 activity independently of its antioxidant function in studies has shown that this form of vitamin E plays an important role in photo-protection and skin cancer prevention. |

Organic Rosmarinus officinalis. We've chosen a rosemary extract with particularly high levels of bioactive molecules which reduce the expression of IL-1β and TNF-α and inhibit COX-2 activity in addition to scavenging free radicals, which makes it extremely anti-inflammatory and soothing. |

Wild Flax seed oil is high in the Essential Fatty Acid Omega 3 with up to 17% of the unsaturated fatty acid, gadoleic acid.
Fatty Acids are essential in maintaining the health of our skin.
Our shea butter has a uniquely high percentage of cinnamic acid esters, which gives shea butter its exceptional healing properties. Also high in phytosterols, which are known to be active in stimulating the formation and growth of new cells. Shea butter is also anti-inflammatory.
