A gentle refreshing deodorant that does not clog pores but keeps you smelling yummy all day.  Effective ingredients include aloe vera and extracts of magnolia, lavender and Sicilian lemon ensuring odour-free freshness all day.

Antioxidant, pH balanced

Organic English lavender hydrosol, Lavendula augustifolia distillate, which contains all the beneficial water soluble molecules from the distillation of organic lavender which makes the essential oil.  The distillate (hydrosol) and oil are separated and we use this gorgeously exquisite hydrosol in all of our products instead of using just plain water.

Organic Aloe vera, Aloe barbadensis, is vitamin & mineral rich with anti-inflammatory properties which soothe and promote healing.

Organic lemon, Citrus limonum, from Sicily is highly antioxidant and not only adds a fresh uplifting aroma but is also high in the phytonutrient d-limonene.

Organic castor seed oil, Ricinus communis, is naturally high in Omega 6 & 9 fatty acids and is a superb skin conditioner.

Organic Magnolia, Magnolia × alba, is a rare and beautiful aroma also known as White Champaca or White Jade Orchid

Natural Vitamin E, Tocopherol.  We've chosen our vitamin E so that it contains a higher percentage of the active, gamma-tocopherol.  In addition to scavenging free radicals, vitamin e is anti-inflammatory and soothing.  The ability of gamma-tocopherol to inhibit COX-2 activity independently of its antioxidant function in studies has shown that this form of vitamin E plays an important role in photo-protection and skin cancer prevention.

WILDCIDE® - patent pending organic multifunction active developed in our laboratory.  Highly antioxidant and antimicrobial.

Aloe vera is traditionally used for burn relief and its healing properties are recognised the world over.  It contains a wealth of beneficial constituents including lignin, saponins, anthraquines, polysaccharides such as glucomannans (of particular importance is acemannan), tannins, enzymes, aloesin, salicylic acid, fatty acids and twenty amino acids (including all eight essential amino acids), at least nine minerals (calcium, sodium, iron, potassium, zinc, chromium, magnesium, manganese and copper) and a number of vitamins, including B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, A, C, E, folic acid, and choline.

Evidence-based research is plentiful for aloe vera including soothing properties for burn relief [1-2] and its anti-inflammatory properties [3-4].

We use only natural and organic ingredients in our deodorant, especially avoiding harmful metals like aluminium.

Aluminium Hydroxychloride (INCI Name: Aluminium Chlorohydrate) or Aluminium Zirconium is an aluminium salt which is used in most antiperspirants. Its salts act as a sweat inhibitor, closing off the skin's sweat pores so the sweat is unable to come out.  Closing off the body's most important secretory organ day after day (sweating from the arm pits included) and with a substance than can be irritating to the skin and is easily absorbed by damaged (freshly shaved) skin, is not the best solution for our sweat problems.

There are established links between the use of this salt and the development of  breast cysts [1] and cancer [2].  Clinical consequences arising from absorbed antiperspirant salts were described in a case study in 2004 reporting adverse bone pain and fatigue associated with toxic blood levels of aluminium, both of which disappeared after discontinuing antiperspirant use [3].  And no doubt we have all read in the newspapers the research that links the aluminium found in brain lesions of Alzheimer victims [4-7] with the same toxic metal in our environment, and that so many cooking utensils are made from.

I believe the easiest and healthiest solution is to avoid risk and steer clear of all aluminium.
