Organic English lavender hydrosol, Lavendula augustifolia distillate, which contains all the beneficial water soluble molecules from the distillation of organic lavender which makes the essential oil. The distillate (hydrosol) and oil are separated and we use this gorgeously exquisite hydrosol in all of our products instead of using just plain water. |

Niacinamide is one of two principal forms of niacin, the B-complex vitamin, B3, which was first isolated from rice bran in 1911. Clinical studies show that niacinamide reduces wrinkle depth, is soothing and anti-inflammatory relieving redness caused by rosacea, dry or irritated skin, improves skin moisturisation, reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL), improves the appearance of ageing skin by stimulating new fibroblasts and collagen synthesis, increases skin elasticity, encourages a more even-looking skin tone by lightening the skin and reducing age spots, pore size and blemishes. |

Konjac Root Powder, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Powder. The Konjac plant blossoms in subtropical mountain and hilly landscapes of eastern Asia where it has been used for over 2000 years as both a vegetable commonly eaten and a plant with medicinal properties. Konjac root powder is a natural polysaccharide of β(1-4)-D-glucomannopyranosyl backbone of D-mannose and D-glucose derived from the tuber of Amorphophallus konjac and has been shown to stimulate fibroblasts. |

Organic Lavender, lavandula angustifolia, from the foothills of the French Alps. When lavender is grown at over 1400 meters, as ours is, the plant produces more healing and soothing esters. In 1910 René-Maurice Gattefossé, a reknowned French chemist, burned his hand very badly and plunged it into a vessel of lavandula angustifolia essential oil. His hand healed without scarring which inspired him to publish Aromathérapie: Les Huiles Essentielles in 1937. Numerous studies have since corroborated lavender's is anti-inflammatory, soothing, and healing properties. |

WILDCIDE® - patent pending organic multifunction active developed in our laboratory. Highly antioxidant and antimicrobial. |
Niacinamide (Nicotinamide) exerts a number of anti-inflammatory properties, such as inhibition of the synthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines (tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-1, IL-6, IL-8, interferon (IFN)-γ), inhibition of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), modulation of free radical scavenging, and suppression of the expression of MHC class II and some adhesion molecules on immune cells. It has been suggested that the anti-inflammatory properties of NA are related to the inhibition of NAD-dependent enzymes, such as poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase-1 [1,2,3,4].
Traditional uses and potential health benefits of Amorphophallus konjac K. Koch ex N.E.Br.
Amorphophallus konjac (konjac) has long been used in China, Japan and South East Asia as a food source and as a traditional medicine. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), a gel prepared from the flour has been used for detoxification, tumour-suppression, blood stasis alleviation and phlegm liquefaction; and for more than 2000 years has been consumed by the indigenous people of China for the treatment of asthma, cough, hernia, breast pain, burns as well as haematological and skin disorders.
High molecular weight plant heteropolysaccharides stimulate fibroblasts but inhibit keratinocytes.
